Job summary

PhoenixAI, headquartered in Menlo Park, CA, seeks a Database Support Engineer to drive onboarding, deployment, adoption, and long-term customer success for the Agentic Database. This role blends deep technical expertise with strong communication to guide customers through complex data challenges across the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with sales, product, and engineering to optimize architecture and drive revenue growth, while supporting PoCs and contributing to marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in pre-sales or post-sales in data analytics, database, or cloud spaces.
• CS graduates are welcome with strong fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with OLAP, query optimization and data modeling (star/snowflake).
• Proficiency in SQL and distributed data processing theory.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Bonus: knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Looker) and streaming systems (Kafka).

Responsibilities

• Be the ongoing technical point of contact for customers, ensuring value realization of PhoenixAI's Agentic Database.
• Lead onboarding, deployment, adoption, and cross-sell opportunities.
• Support PoCs and assist presales as needed.
• Document use cases, challenges, PoC plans, and outcomes for product feedback.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to align technical discussions with business goals.
• Contribute to webinars, conference booths, and thought leadership to boost brand presence.
