Job summary

Axon is seeking an experienced Manager of Equity Compensation to lead day-to-day activities of the company’s equity plans, including the eXponential Stock Plan (XSP). The role reports to the Senior Director – Head of Financial Reporting & Equity and partners with People Operations, Payroll, Legal, Accounting, FP&A, Tax and Audit.

You’ll work in a hybrid model from Axon’s US hubs (Atlanta, Boston, New York, Virginia, Phoenix, San Francisco or Seattle) with in-person collaboration Tue–Fri and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• 7+ years experience in Stock Administration, with experience in a public company.
• Excellent computer knowledge, including proficiency in Excel and interest in automation and AI initiatives.
• Comprehensive knowledge of various types of equity awards and programs.
• Understanding of accounting standards related to equity compensation.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with attention to quality and detail.
• Strong written and oral communication with all levels and partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end administration of equity plans, including grants, exercises, releases and cancellations.
• Coordinate with Payroll, Accounting and People Ops on stock compensation reporting for domestic and international employees.
• Implement best practices with controls and automate workstreams for equity data processing.
• Prepare Forms 3 and 4 for SEC reporting and 10b5-1 trading plan setups.
• Provide information for financial statement footnotes and quarterly equity rollforwards.
