Job summary

Axon is seeking an experienced Manager of Equity Compensation to oversee day-to-day administration of equity plans, including the eXponential Stock Plan (XSP). The ideal candidate is familiar with stock options, RSUs and PSUs and has experience with international considerations and tax implications.

The role reports to the Senior Director – Head of Financial Reporting & Equity and collaborates with People Operations, Payroll, Legal, Accounting, FP&A, Tax and Audit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• 7+ years experience in Stock Administration, with experience in a public company.
• Proficient in Excel; interest in automation and AI initiatives.
• Knowledge of equity award types and programs.
• Understanding of accounting standards related to equity compensation.
• Excellent written and oral communication with all levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills and initiative.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end administration of equity plans including grants, exercises, releases and cancellations.
• Coordinate with Payroll, Accounting, People Ops, Tax and Legal on reporting of stock compensation.
• Support evolution of the eXponential Stock Plan (XSP).
• Implement controls and automate workflows for equity data processing.
• Prepare Forms 3 and 4 for officer/director reporting.
• Provide information for footnotes and quarterly equity rollforward.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting.
