Job summary

Axon is seeking an experienced Manager of Equity Compensation to oversee day-to-day activities of the company’s equity plans, including the XSP. The role reports to the Senior Director – Head of Financial Reporting & Equity and collaborates with People Operations, Payroll, Legal, Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and auditors.

The position supports a hybrid work model with in-office Tuesdays–Fridays and remote Mondays across US hubs in Atlanta, Boston, New York, Virginia, Scottsdale, San Francisco, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• 7+ years experience in Stock Administration, with experience in a public company.
• Excellent computer knowledge, including proficiency in Excel and interest in automation and AI initiatives.
• Comprehensive knowledge of equity awards and programs.
• Understanding of accounting standards related to equity compensation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end administration of equity plans, including grants, exercises, releases and cancellations, reviews monthly reconciliations, and monitor share utilization.
• Partner with stakeholders on evolution of the eXponential Stock Plan (XSP).
• Implement best practices with controls and automate workflows for equity data processing.
• Coordinate with Payroll, Accounting and People Ops on reporting of stock compensation for domestic and international employees.
• Prepare Forms 3 and 4 for Section 16 officer/ director reporting.
