Job summary

Axon is seeking an experienced Manager of Equity Compensation to oversee day-to-day activities of our equity plans, including the XSP. The role requires deep knowledge of stock options, RSUs, PSUs, and international tax considerations, with frequent interaction across Finance, People Ops, Payroll, Legal, and Audit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• 7+ years experience in Stock Administration at a public company.
• Excellent computer knowledge, including proficiency in Excel and automation initiatives.
• Comprehensive knowledge of equity awards and programs.
• Understanding of accounting standards related to equity compensation.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with focus on accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels of stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, flexibility, and teamwork.
• High confidentiality and ethics; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end administration of equity plans, including grants, exercises, releases, and cancellations, and monitor share utilization with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with stakeholders on evolving the eXponential Stock Plan (XSP) and its governance.
• Implement best practices with controls and automate workflows for accurate equity data processing.
• Coordinate with Payroll, Accounting, and People Ops on reporting stock compensation for domestic and international employees.
• Serve as liaison for officers, employees, and brokers for 10b5-1 plans and transactions.
• Prepare Forms 3 and 4 for Section 16 reporting.
• Provide information for financial statement footnotes and reconcile equity accounts; produce quarterly rollforward.
• Perform additional duties and ad hoc projects as requested.
