Job summary

The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is seeking a Non-Supervisory Program Manager to support EMBRACE operations. You will collaborate with grassroots organizations, service providers, and government agencies to drive reentry and youth services programs while centering people with lived experience in design and evaluation.

The role emphasizes equitable, community-driven approaches, data-informed decision making, and collaboration across sectors to strengthen organizational effectiveness

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of program oversight including program planning, budget, and coordination.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Experience with community organizations and cross-sector partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more EMBRACE programs with substantive size and budget.
• Set goals and create tactics to achieve program objectives.
• Plan and coordinate daily activities of a program including monitoring relationships with outside agencies or subcontractors.
• Manage budget, including approving finances, tracking expenditures, variances, and reporting.
• Coordinate and assist in training programs for employees, volunteers, and community.
• Plan data management and communications strategy; work with senior management on goals and milestones.
• Manage databases to analyze criteria, monitor, evaluate, and suggest program improvements.
