JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks a Data Strategy Lead for our Equities business to partner with research and portfolio management teams to drive data product development that underpins research, analytics, dashboards, and decision-support for portfolio teams.

You will coordinate with data owners and technology teams to deliver fit-for-purpose data products, ensure governance and control standards, and enable adoption and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a related role developing data products or data assets.
• Strong ability to elicit requirements and translate business needs into data solutions.
• Experience with data owners and data engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of data quality and metadata management; familiarity with governance and controls.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with Equities business consumers to understand use cases and requirements, translating demand into clear specifications for data product development.
• Work with data owners and custodians to understand data sourcing options, integrate new data sources as needed, ensuring seamless ingestion, transformation, and validation to deliver high quality, fit-for-purpose product to meet consumer needs.
• Drive data product development end-to-end, coordinating across business stakeholders, data owners, and technology teams to deliver products that meet defined requirements and standards.
• Ensure data products meet documentation, governance, and control standards, including ownership, data contracts, quality expectations, access models, and audit evidence requirements.
• Support adoption and value realisation, working with consumers to ensure products are understood, accessible, and delivering intended business outcomes.
