Job description

Immediate Need: Equipment Technician (2nd Shift)

JVT Advisors is seeking a full-time Equipment Technician for the 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 11:00 PM) on-site in Andover, MA. The salary range is $55,000 - $60,000 per year, with a 12% shift differential and full benefits including 401(k).

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to production operators and supervisors
• Generate metrics on equipment uptime, utilization, and overall work center performance related to OEE
• Improve, debug, and optimize machine programs; optimize setups and changeovers to maximize machine capacity
• Develop and improve equipment maintenance documentation
• Support engineering and manufacturing by conducting tests and studies for equipment/process qualification and verification
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on VI Chip production equipment

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience supporting equipment such as dispense systems, pick and place equipment, screen printers, AOI systems, reflow ovens, dicing saws, molding equipment, and lasers
• Associates degree or technical certification is a plus
• Experience with piping, rigging, welding, pump replacements, etc. is strongly desired
• Ability to train and mentor technicians and develop work instructions
