Position Scope

As a Field Engineer, you will be essential in commissioning building automation systems tailored to each customer. The role requires teamwork, excellent time management, organization, communication, technical, and troubleshooting skills. You will solve complex problems, train less experienced engineers, and serve as a field contact.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems utilizing advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
• Mentor and develop less experienced engineers.
• Serve as a local technical contact.
• Resolve complex system issues with effective solutions.
• Deliver turnkey projects on medium to large scales.
• Ensure proper operation of controls, sensors, and software.
• Configure software, trends, alarms, and reports.
• Manage time effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate project status and details to customers.
• Provide site-specific training to owners/operators.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or a related technical field.
• Ability to climb ladders or lift equipment over 8 feet and up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable by the company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or certification in HVAC, Controls, or related field.
• Proficiency with building automation software like WebCTRL.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and wireless technology.
• Ability to handle multiple technical challenges and communicate technical info to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Compensation

Pay Range: $50,319 - $88,447 annually.
