Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is looking for a results-driven leader to oversee maintenance teams, train technicians, and manage parts and costs. You will drive safety, accountability and efficient performance across service operations.

The role emphasizes staffing, budget control, and customer service excellence, with opportunities for growth and development within a large equipment rental organization.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; trade-school degree a plus; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Extensive Equipment Fleet Maintenance and leadership experience.
• 5 years' service and maintenance experience and a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance accounting and P&L.
• Basic computer skills (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Motivate, coach and train technicians to meet time and quality standards.
• Staff location based on skills and workload.
• Responsible for repair and maintenance costs and P&L.
• Lead and measure service and maintenance performance metrics.
• Oversee parts department activities for productivity and cost control.
• Evaluate performance and provide skills training and coaching.
• Promote safety, discipline, accountability and clear communication.
• Other duties as needed.
