Job summary

Hillyard, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Service Coordinator to keep service calls moving, inform customers, and organize technicians. You will coordinate from initial request through completion, working with customers, technicians, and Service leadership to schedule work and monitor repairs.

This role emphasizes communication, follow-through, and problem-solving, with opportunities to contribute to estimates and scheduled maintenance while ensuring customers receive timely updates.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, dispatch, service coordination, scheduling, or a related role preferred.
• Comfortable communicating directly with both customers and service technicians.
• Ability to manage multiple service requests and priorities without losing attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Comfortable working with computer systems to enter, track, and update service information.
• Experience with parts ordering or an equipment service environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter and coordinate customer service calls for technician dispatch
• Communicate with Service Technicians regarding schedules, service needs, and repair status
• Monitor open service orders and follow repairs through completion
• Assist technicians with service repair estimates and related information
• Keep customers informed about the status of their equipment and repairs
• Partner with Service leadership to resolve questions and keep service work moving
• Assist with scheduling Programmed Maintenance Agreement service
• Follow up on open items and help identify solutions when service issues arise
