Job summary

MacAllister Machinery Co., Inc. in Michigan is seeking an experienced sales representative to drive new, used, and rental equipment sales across an assigned geographic area.

You will be the main point of contact for existing and new clients, presenting pricing and financing options, building relationships, and closing deals where possible. You will coordinate with branches and managers to balance market share with profitability while supporting Parts, Service, Rental, and other enterprise needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction equipment sales or related field.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar products.
• Willingness to travel 0-25% for day and night travel.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to customers in an assigned geographic area, handling new, used, and rental equipment needs.
• Qualify customer needs, present pricing and finance options, and close sales when possible.
• Support enterprise needs across Parts, Service, Rental, and other offerings.
• Maintain accurate customer databases and communicate offers via phone, email, and other means.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to meet budgets and objectives.
• Demonstrate equipment at store locations to customers.
• Complete required documentation and reporting in a timely manner.
