Job summary

United Rentals is the world’s largest equipment rental provider, seeking an Inside Sales Rep to serve as a key customer contact and consultant at our branch. You will quote, sell and fulfill equipment and services based on customer needs, building relationships and driving branch growth.

You’ll process quotations, establish new accounts, negotiate prices, dispatch deliveries and generate leads for growth, while maintaining a clean showroom and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills
• Strong multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers
• Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies in accordance with pricing policies
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer expectations
• Generate leads for new business and communicate with Outside Sales Representatives
• Warm call on lost/dormant accounts to retain business
• Maintain showroom with merchandise and ensure readiness for customers
• Other duties as needed
