Job summary

Wagner Equipment Co. in El Paso, TX is seeking a Rental Coordinator to assist customers in selecting the right machine and to coordinate daily rental transactions with a goal of operating as a unified professional team.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, customer service, accurate invoicing, and effective coordination with the rental fleet. Strong communication and computer skills are expected; on-site work with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in a heavy equipment environment with customer service responsibilities.
• At least 1 year of administrative/clerical experience.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Invoices CAT and non-CAT rentals, damage charges, and demos.
• Process AG, CAT, and non-CAT rentals and invoices accurately.
• Maintain records on all rental equipment in the fleet.
• Apply applicable taxes to invoices.
• Review shipping/receiving documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with preparation, processing, and distribution of rental, credit, and sales documents.
• Enter lost-sales rental data into the system.
• Use DBS to manage reservations, contracts, exchanges, tickets, and transfers.
• Handle overdue contracts and reservations; ensure contracts are current.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving with yard personnel.
• Understand which inventory should be rented for each job.
• Complete rental transactions through direct customer contact.
• Assist walk-in customers with availability and options of equipment.
• Quote rates and help customers select best equipment option.
• Assist customers with invoicing or account information issues.
• Assist customers in locating the right machine for their job.
• Other duties as assigned.
