Burwell Material Handling in Baton Rouge, LA is hiring a Rental Coordinator to support the rental department by coordinating rental activity, tracking inventory, and delivering excellent service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in rental coordination or customer service is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Clear, professional communication.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift as required.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound phone calls from customers and team members.
• Manage the rental process for the branch—quote equipment, coordinate deliveries and pickups, handle billing, and monitor rental inventory.
• Prepare rental agreements and ensure accurate documentation.
• Assist with collection efforts on past‑due rental invoices when needed.
• Keep internal teams updated on equipment statuses and completed tasks.
• Track and report KPIs like utilization, dormancy, and fleet rightsizing.
