Job summary

National Tank & Equipment in Sulphur, LA seeks a Sales Coordinator to act as the operational backbone of the branch. You will coordinate customer rental requests, equipment availability, transportation logistics, contracts, dispatch, and branch communications to deliver timely, accurate, and cost-effective rental solutions.

Work with customers, sales reps, drivers, mechanics, and leadership to manage rentals from inquiry through return.

Qualifications

2+ years’ experience in customer service, rental, logistics, sales support, or industrial roles.
Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, communications or related field is a plus.
Must pass DOT physical and have a valid driver’s license (>3 years) with a clean driving record.
Possess or obtain and maintain a TWIC card.
Strong customer service, organization, follow-up and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple active orders with changing priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn rental systems (RentalMan preferred).

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries and gather information to fulfill rental requests.
Prepare and maintain rental contracts, quotes, purchase orders, and supporting records.
Communicate order status, delivery expectations, and changes clearly.
Coordinate equipment with operations, drivers, and sales reps.
Monitor open orders and ensure commitments are completed.
Assist invoicing, billing support and rental closeout activities.
Support safe equipment selection, transportation planning, and branch procedures.
