Job summary

Warren Equipment Company in Tulsa, OK seeks an Equipment Rental Specialist to support operations and ensure a positive rental experience. You will coordinate pickups/deliveries, process rental information, and help customers determine equipment needs and rates.

Responsibilities include quoting, invoicing, and close collaboration with sales, transportation, credit, and service teams to ensure accurate paperwork and timely rentals. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years in transportation-related fields.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving, customer service and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret business materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information to groups and manage inquiries.
• Ability to calculate discounts, percentages and related figures.
• Ability to adapt and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic PC skills and comfort with spreadsheets/databases/web platforms.

Responsibilities

• Complete rental transactions and coordinate pickup/delivery of units.
• Enter all required rental information accurately.
• Consult with customers to determine rental rates, contracts, and transportation needs.
• Recommend products and services to customers.
• Prepare and assist with rental quotes.
• Collaborate with rental staff, transportation, credit, and service teams to finalize paperwork.
• Create, edit, invoice, and close rental agreements using WCAT.
• Track inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Seek out-of-the-box solutions as needed.
• Obtain credit PO requirements from internal credit team daily.
• Ensure COD and CAT accounts are collected and maintained.
• Transfer and track equipment between stores as needed.
• Follow check-in/check-out procedures for all units.
• Document lost rentals and invoice costs as needed.
• Perform cold calls to potential rental customers.
• Instruct customers on safe operation of equipment.
• Maintain a positive customer service mindset.
