Best Line Equipment in Keyport, NJ is seeking a motivated Rental Counter Specialist to manage rental contracts, coordinate deliveries and pickups, and monitor equipment status. The role blends customer service with hands-on equipment coordination.

Responsibilities include handling reservations, transferring equipment as needed, and maintaining transaction records. The position requires a valid CDL and a driver’s license, with benefits and a wage range of $25–$29 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• CDL with ability to operate rollback/tractor-trailer for local deliveries.
• Six months of relevant experience with construction equipment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Answer incoming calls from customers.
• Confirm reservations for will call, delivery orders, and pickups.
• Provide information about rented equipment and coordinate transfers.
• Keep records of transactions and billing cycles.
• Assist with loading/unloading equipment for customers and drivers.
• Support local equipment deliveries with rollback truck/tractor-trailer.
• Assist inside and outside sales personnel.
• Maintain a clean and presentable store environment.
