Under general supervision, operates a variety of heavy vehicles and equipment. Position requires a high degree of operator skill. May perform manual work duties as assigned. Works in Streets, Water Management, Sanitation and Environmental Services, or another City department.
Ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Requires stationary work, movement across worksites, heavy equipment operation, and physical effort including lifting up to 100 pounds. Exposure to outdoor weather, fumes, chemicals, loud environments, and mechanical parts.
High school diploma or GED plus three years of construction equipment operation experience or equivalent. CDL-A or B license required. Additional certifications may include erosion control, flagging, forklift, and work zone.
