Job summary

Thompson Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our safety-minded team in Georgia. This role ensures safe and successful execution of jobs across service lines, providing hands-on operation of hydroblasting and other equipment while upholding safety policies.

As a key on-site team member, you will transport equipment, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and guide a crew of vacuum technicians.

Qualifications

• Must have safety training and on-the-job training experience.
• Ability to comprehend safety training and respond to emergency instructions in English.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers.
• Experience operating a vacuum truck.

Responsibilities

• Safety policies and procedures for company and customer, including safety, operations, and administrative duties.
• Hands-on operation of hydroblasting equipment as needed.
• Operate equipment such as UH-Pressure pumps and vacuum/jet rodders.
• Transport equipment and personnel to customer locations and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Direct a crew of vacuum technicians and ensure DOT compliance.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and loading/unloading hoses.
