Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a Production Operator in California under supervision of the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager. You will operate and maintain concrete handling equipment, inspect product quality, and support production flow while adhering to policy and safety standards.

Qualifications include manufacturing experience, 2+ years on similar equipment, and reading safety procedures. Benefits include health, retirement, PTO, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience operating similar equipment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read safety procedures and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain concrete handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect the quality of products according to standards and adjust settings as necessary.
• Detect and report equipment malfunctions and quality issues to Plant Supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production flow and reporting.
• Perform machine clean-up, set-up and other duties with product changes.
• Execute daily and business fundamentals.
• Cross-train on other aspects of the production process.
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager, Supervisor, and Lead Machine Operator.
