Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, in Tracy, CA, is seeking a concrete production operator to operate and maintain our production machinery and oversee quality control. You will inspect products, adjust machine settings, and work to keep production running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years operating similar equipment and a high school diploma or GED, with the ability to read safety and operating instructions.

Qualifications

• Must read and comprehend safety procedures and operating instructions.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as safety and maintenance instructions.
• Capable of performing tasks in dusty, hot and/or cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain concrete handling (Rekers) equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect product quality and adjust settings as needed to meet standards.
• Detect and report equipment malfunctions and quality issues to Plant Supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production flow and reporting.
• Perform machine clean-up, setup, and other duties related to product changes.
• carry out daily and business fundamentals and cross-train on other production areas.
