Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks production operators to efficiently run concrete product lines and monitor machinery in a plant setting. You will inspect product quality and maintain accurate production records while adhering to safety procedures.

The role requires reading safety procedures, lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance, and wearing PPE. Employment includes benefits such as 401(k), disability, life, health/dental/vision, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least 1 year of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, operating manuals.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds with assistance, at heights up to 4 feet.
• Must wear personal protective equipment - ear plugs, hard hat, steel toe shoes and protective glasses.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment efficiently to produce concrete products from raw materials to yard stage.
• Inspect the quality of products according to standards.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production records.
• Monitor the operations of machinery and report malfunctions.
• Perform machine clean-up, setup, and other functions during job changes.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area in a clear and orderly fashion.
• Cross-train on other aspects of the production process.
• Ensure a high level of accuracy in all work assignments.
• Follow applicable housekeeping and safety procedures.
