Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a skilled Mechanic to maintain a diverse fleet of aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and power generation equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair equipment while upholding safety standards. A high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience are required. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment preferred.
• May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on equipment.
• Make repairs in a safe, efficient manner to minimize downtime.
• Work with a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and generator equipment.
