Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of equipment, including aerial work platforms, generators, pumps, and HVAC systems. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills, and be able to adapt to changing priorities on the job site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose issues and perform repairs in a safe, efficient manner.
• Work with a diverse fleet including Aerial Work Platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC equipment.
