Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a skilled Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps and HVAC equipment.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment, strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting abilities, and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a safety-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training preferred.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work safely to minimize downtime across a fleet that includes aerial work platforms, pumps and HVAC gear.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and support team objectives.
