Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Newnan, GA is seeking a Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of aerial work platforms, pumps and general construction tools. This role offers hands-on work on a variety of makes and models in a safety-focused environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and work with a team of skilled technicians. A high school diploma and 3–5 years diesel/heavy equipment experience are expected, with benefits starting after joining.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade training preferred.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel/heavy equipment.
• Experience with generators, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on fleet equipment.
• Repair equipment in a safe, efficient manner to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with a team in a safety-focused environment.
