Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an experienced Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, and power generators. You will work in a safety-conscious environment with a dynamic team and opportunities to advance into service management roles.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong hydraulic/electrical diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or related lines preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on equipment.
• Repair equipment in a safe, efficient manner to minimize downtime.
• Work with a team in a safety-focused environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
