Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on a diverse fleet of equipment, including aerial work platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil & gas gear.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and maintain equipment to minimize downtime on customer sites. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (trade training preferred) and 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnostics and repairs to reduce downtime.
• Operate safely on a variety of makes, models and equipment; follow safety protocols.
