LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Equipment to lead equipment engineering and maintenance in an on-site Holland, MI facility.

The role drives safe, reliable, and efficient production through preventive maintenance, reliability programs, and cross-functional collaboration. Leadership responsibilities include guiding engineers and technicians and coordinating with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in equipment/maintenance/manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 3–6+ years of leadership/management experience in equipment engineering or maintenance.
• Experience supporting large-scale, high-volume, automated manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting, reliability, and preventive maintenance experience.
• Experience leading equipment improvement and continuous improvement projects.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E or electrical safety practices is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead equipment engineering and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable production.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs and schedule adherence.
• Monitor equipment performance and downtime to identify root causes and improvements.
• Lead complex equipment issue resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with multiple departments and vendors to support projects and maintenance.
• Ensure documentation, safety, and quality records meet standards.
• Promote 5S and Lean practices to improve efficiency.
• Manage budgets, purchasing, and resource planning as needed.
