Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. is seeking a Production Engineer I to support safe, efficient manufacturing in Holland, MI. The role focuses on monitoring performance, troubleshooting equipment and processes, and driving continuous improvement across yield, OEE, and quality.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Equipment, Maintenance and Safety teams to implement corrective actions, develop SOPs, and train staff while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing problems and drive corrective actions.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations to align with production and shipment plans.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes with cross-functional teams to improve performance.
• Monitor yield, OEE, output, and quality metrics.
• Identify root causes of abnormalities and support corrective actions.
• Review NCRs and coordinate corrective actions with teams.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and related docs.
• Train production staff on new or revised processes.
• Monitor progress and report risks or delays to stakeholders.
• Support inventory management and classify conforming/non-conforming stock.
• Participate in audits and support corrective actions from findings.
