LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. is seeking a production equipment maintenance technician to help keep our high‑volume manufacturing lines running. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support TPM programs in a fast‑paced EV battery environment.

You will work with production teams, follow 5S3R standards, document maintenance activities, and help implement continuous improvement ideas while maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Formación

• 1-7+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PLC experience preferred.
• Understanding of production and processing equipment.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Perform responsibilities of conducting corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery
• Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas
• Prepare and manage periodic preventative maintenance schedule
• Keep the records of all preventative maintenance and troubleshooting works
• Coordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issues
• Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment
• Prepare and maintain maintenance related documents of daily report and check sheets
• Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards
• Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
• Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
• Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP's during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
