Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a manufacturing maintenance team in River Rouge, MI. You will develop maintenance procedures, plan repairs, and ensure safe, reliable operation of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

This is an on-site, permanent role with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement. The role requires hands-on PLC troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and strong leadership to coach technicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a maintenance leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in PLC troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Proven ability to lead and develop maintenance teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and their implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
• Plan and oversee repair and installation activities.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Keep a maintenance log and report on daily activities.
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs for all machines to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and provide quick solutions to maintain continuous production.
• Manage and maintain hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems to ensure optimum performance.
• Collaborate with other managers to optimize production processes.
