Equipment Maintenance Technician - $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Position Overview

The Heavy Equipment Operator must operate skid steer, loader, dozer, crusher, or excavator according to project specifications. Responsibilities include daily equipment servicing and maintenance. Travel is required for this position.

Primary Duties

• Operate equipment efficiently to meet production goals
• Assist with plant setup and teardown
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas
• Lift objects weighing up to 80 lbs regularly
• Use shovels to move materials as needed
• Follow safety guidelines per MSHA and company policies
• Conduct pre-shift inspections of equipment
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to operate equipment efficiently and safely
• Mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance
• Basic welding skills and experience with cutting torches
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) under company policy
• Willingness to obtain MSHA certifications (company-paid)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Pass pre-employment drug testing
• Teamwork skills
• Willing to travel as required
