Equipment Maintenance Technician - $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Position Overview

Fisher Industries, a comprehensive family of businesses in aggregate production and heavy civil construction, is seeking a qualified Equipment Maintenance Technician. The role involves operating and maintaining heavy equipment, with responsibilities including servicing, repairs, and ensuring safety compliance. Travel is required.

Primary Duties

• Operate equipment efficiently to meet production goals
• Assist with plant setup and teardown
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs
• Maintain housekeeping of equipment and work areas
• Lift objects weighing up to 80 lbs
• Use shovels and other tools as needed
• Conduct pre-shift inspections
• Follow safety guidelines per MSHA and company policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently
• Mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance
• Basic welding skills and experience with cutting torches
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Willingness to obtain MSHA certifications (company pays for training)
• Ability to work under adverse weather conditions
• Pass pre-employment drug test
• Teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel
