An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Hospital Services Swing Worker to travel between healthcare facilities. This remote, non-sales role involves proactive waste management services, ensuring compliance with various Stericycle programs. Under management's direction, the Hospital Services Swing worker travels between customer healthcare facilities providing on-site proactive collection and exchange of waste containers for various Stericycle programs. This includes, but is not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. Services are provided at regularly scheduled intervals for assigned facilities. The role also involves filling in for other team members on vacation, sick leave, etc., assisting the supervisor as needed, and covering schedules and locations which may vary based on coverage requirements.
This position requires reliable transportation to travel within your territory. It is a remote, non-sales role.
Days: Monday-Wednesday, Friday
Start time: Swing Shift (varied start times)
Territory: Covering locations across Iowa and Western Illinois, requiring local travel. Personal vehicle is necessary.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of industry-related experience in customer service preferred, or equivalent work experience demonstrating strong communication skills and customer service in various settings.
May require immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements.
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Reside within reasonable commuting distance of the primary customer base.
Ability to work independently and knowledge of computer software including spreadsheets and KPI tracking applications.
