Under management's direction, the Hospital Services Swing worker travels between customer healthcare facilities providing on-site proactive collection and exchange of waste containers for various Stericycle programs. This includes, but is not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. Services are provided at regularly scheduled intervals for assigned facilities. The role involves filling in for other team members on vacation, sick leave, etc., and assisting the supervisor with scheduling and coverage, which may vary based on needs.
This position requires reliable transportation to travel within your territory. It is a remote, non-sales role.
Days: Monday-Wednesday, Friday
Start Time: Swing Shift, start times vary
Territory: Covering locations across Iowa and Western Illinois, requiring local travel within the territory. A personal vehicle is necessary.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of industry-related experience in customer service preferred, or equivalent work experience demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills. May require immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Reside within reasonable commuting distance of the primary customer base. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Knowledge of computer software applications including spreadsheets and KPI tracking tools.
