Position Overview

The Heavy Equipment Operator will operate skid steer, loader, dozer, crusher, or excavator according to project specifications and will be responsible for daily equipment servicing and maintenance. Travel is required for this position.

Primary Duties

• Operate equipment efficiently to meet production goals
• Assist with plant setup and teardown
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area
• Lift objects weighing up to 80 lbs regularly
• Use shovels to move materials as needed
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections
• Follow all safety guidelines per MSHA and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to operate equipment efficiently
• Mechanical knowledge and routine maintenance skills
• Basic welding and torch operation skills
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) as per company policy
• Willingness to obtain MSHA certifications (company pays for training)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
