Construction Machinery Operator/Technician - $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Position Scope

The Heavy Equipment Operator must operate skid steer, loader, dozer, crusher, or excavator according to project specifications. Responsibilities include equipment servicing and maintenance. Travel is required for this position.

Primary Duties

• Operate equipment efficiently to meet production goals
• Assist with plant setup and teardown
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs as directed
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas
• Lift objects weighing up to 80 lbs regularly
• Use shovels to move materials as needed
• Follow safety guidelines set by MSHA and company policies
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections
• Adhere to all safety standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to operate equipment efficiently and safely
• Mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance
• Basic welding and cutting torch skills
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) as per company policy
• Willingness to obtain MSHA certifications (company will pay)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Pass pre-employment drug test
• Teamwork skills
• Travel availability
