Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an Equipment Specialist (Non-Traveler) in Phoenix, AZ to support day-to-day equipment operations for project teams and facilities. You will manage orders, supplier relations, and inventory while ensuring accurate billing and reporting.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills and travel up to 100% as needed. The position offers comprehensive benefits and eligibility for Mortenson's incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Requires associates degree and 1+ years in rental equipment, construction, or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
• Strong attention to detail with professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Process equipment facility orders and returns.
• Source equipment from internal and 3rd party suppliers.
• Generate POs for purchases and rentals.
• Handle invoicing and billing reconciliation daily.
• Support inventory management efforts.
• Coordinate fleet and equipment planning with project teams.
• Lead equipment review meetings with project and accounting teams.
