Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a seasoned professional to manage and expand MTEFC relationships within Environmental Waste Space. You will partner with senior management to originate financing opportunities and assess customer needs for tailored credit solutions.

Responsibilities include maintaining relationships, training sales teams, and leveraging public data to gain a competitive edge while ensuring compliance with risk standards. Location: Clanton, Alabama.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 11 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience
• Prior credit underwriting experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Manage existing MTEFC customer relationships with senior management.
• Originate new financing opportunities from the existing customer base via bid letters and awards on publicly funded projects.
• Expand business relationships and margins through superior service and industry knowledge.
• Assess customers’ experience, financial condition, and collateral to tailor financing solutions.
• Provide intelligence to senior management to resolve delinquencies.
• Assist with sales training through meetings, calls, and tradeshows.
• Collaborate with management and support teams to drive success and efficiency.
• Represent the organization to pursue new business opportunities and ensure risk/regulatory compliance.
