Job Title: Equipment Engineer



Location(s): Bridgeville, PA





Responsibilities:


  • Supporting the team on managing / driving financial matters related to the projects; spending; POs.

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely invoicing and equipment deliveries.

  • Designing, procuring and managing equipment for In-Building / DAS Projects.

  • Supporting the equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics.

  • Use FUZE to order equipment, understanding of FUZE EO process preferred

  • Forecast future equipment needs based on project start dates.

  • Ensure proper equipment tracking of all components.

  • Monitor all equipment expenditures.

  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment.

  • Equipment Procurement & Optimization.

  • Oversee equipment receipt and acceptance.

  • Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members.


Must Have Skills:


  • List at least top 3 required skills (Quick-hit descriptions of functions expected of the worker, etc.) and years of experience or range for each outlined required skill.

  • BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or four or more years of work experience related to In-Building / DAS Projects.

  • Experience in the wireless telecom industry, specifically within In-Building / DAS Projects

  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical and communication skills.

  • Excellent team player

  • Must be well organized and able to work under time pressure.

  • Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong technical and project management knowledge.

  • Strong problem solving skills, project planning and time management.

  • Knowledge and experience with the full suite of Google Workspace, including data analytical features such as PivotTable and VLOOKUP

  • Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members.


Desired SKills:


  • List skills that are not required to perform the role, but would be helpful and in some cases could supersede a missing "must-have" skill.

  • Prior work experience working with Telecommunication or Telecommunication tools [FUZE, EO Module, etc.]

  • Samsung RAN and In-Building / DAS equipment Knowledge.

  • CIQ Knowledge.

  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Telecom technologies.

  • Knowledge of RF, Transport and Wireless Construction.

  • Ability to manage changing priorities, competing priorities, and situations in which guidelines can change.

  • Knowledge of HUB, CRAN & DRAN architecture.

  • Engineering, Planning, and/or Operations knowledge of 5G Wireless Networks.

  • Power, Space and Cooling knowledge.


Education:


  • BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics.
