Job summary

U-Haul in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service, helping customers with U-Haul products and services, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and using U-Scan tech to dispatch rentals.

A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required; on-the-job education is provided. The role offers benefits, bonus opportunities, and room for advancement in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
