Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. seeks a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service, helping customers and educating them on our products and services. You will use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, move and hook up trucks and trailers, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.

You will learn on the job with opportunities for advancement and access to benefits. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and educate customers.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring and fill propane; forklift operations (certification offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
