Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a supportive team and be the face of our service. You will assist customers, manage rentals with U-Scan, and help inspect and move equipment at our Bedford, NH location.

Training is provided through U-Haul University and there are opportunities to advance. The role demands a valid driver's license and a high school diploma, with physical duties such as lifting and moving equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to participate in U-Haul education and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, inspect equipment.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring and propanes.
• Drive forklift and complete required certifications offered on employment.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
