Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking an assembler to build and integrate components for JLG/Jerr-Dan products. You will follow detailed instructions, use power and manual tools, and work in a manufacturing environment focused on quality and efficiency.

The role requires the ability to read schematics, lift up to 60 lbs with team effort, and maintain a safe, organized workspace. Overtime may be required to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Overtime is required to meet production demands.
• Regular on-site attendance is expected.
• At least 6 months in manufacturing or general labor.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses and hydraulics using power and manual tools.
• Install decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights as needed.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately with tape measures.
• Drill and tap holes for wires and small components.
• Identify options from schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions.
• Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 60 lbs with team lift).
• Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Maintain clean, safe work area in line with 6S standards.
• Adhere to safety rules and PPE requirements.
