Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a manufacturing/assembly team member to safely assemble equipment following detailed instructions. You will work with mechanical, electrical, and manual tools across varying product lines to build and prepare components for shipment.

Responsibilities include wiring, hydraulics, installing decals and lights, and operating a crane. Candidates should be able to lift up to 35 lbs solo (60 lbs with team lift) and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing or general labor.
• Ability to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately using tape measures.
• Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components.
• Identify required options from schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions.
• Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs).
• Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
• Keep a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety rules and 6S standards.
