Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a manufacturing assembler to join the team in a hands-on role. You will safely assemble equipment by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders, using a range of mechanical, electrical, and manual tools to build diverse products.

Responsibilities include wiring, hydraulics, and installing accessories, while adhering to safety, quality, and 6S standards in a production environment. This is an on-site position with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing or general labor.
• Willingness to work overtime including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and reliable attendance on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately using tape measures.
• Lifts and stacks subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs).
• Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely and maintain 6S standards.
• Keep a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety rules.
