Job summary

Miraval Arizona Resort and Spa is seeking an Equine Facilitator to lead and assist with our Equine Program, providing exceptional experiences for guests while ensuring the health and welfare of the horses and facility.

The role involves guiding private and group sessions, maintaining horse care, and collaborating with the team to maintain a welcoming and safe ranch environment. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Extensive horse handling experience with horses; ability to read equine body language and safety signals.
• Experience guiding or co-facilitating experiential learning sessions with humans and horses.
• Comfort leading small group discussions and engaging participants.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a dynamic wellness setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with private and group Equine Program offerings as assigned.
• Care for guests, vendors, colleagues, horses, tack, equipment and facility.
• Maintain guest confidentiality in all guest interactions.
• Provide high quality horse care including feeding, grooming, wellness checks and coordinating vet/hoof care as needed.
• Collaborate with team to share workload for ranch facilities and equipment upkeep.
• Foster a welcoming, safe environment for guests, colleagues, vendors and horses.
