Job summary

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa is seeking an Assistant Director of Integrative Wellbeing to lead and coordinate across yoga, nutrition, fitness, equine and other wellbeing offerings. The role oversees staff scheduling, program development, budgeting, and guest services, ensuring personalized, transformative experiences while maintaining Miraval's standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• At least five years in health and wellbeing-focused programs; wellness resort experience preferred.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills with staff development.
• Strong guest service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Experience coordinating multiple programs and priorities in fast-paced settings.
• Understanding of resort operations, budgeting, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director by developing, implementing, and evaluating wellbeing programs and classes.
• Coach leaders and staff, and ensure professional development across teams.
• Oversee the monthly activities schedule for balance and guest focus.
• Coordinate operations with Guest Relations, Planning, Housekeeping, and other partners.
• Train reservations and guest relations to connect guests with programs from first contact to checkout.
• Monitor program quality, guest feedback, and operating costs; report findings to leadership.
• Assist with departmental budgets, expense monitoring, and capital planning.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and PR to promote programs and brand reach.
• Lead across Specialists, Farm/Equine, Outdoor Adventure, Yoga and Meditation, Nutrition, and Fitness teams.
